EV Charging Station Model using MATLAB Simulink
This MATLAB/Simulink model simulates a grid-connected electric vehicle (EV) charging station, featuring a grid-side LCL filter and converter with feed-forward decoupling control, voltage and current regulation, and a PLL for synchronization, along with an EV-side system supporting multiple charging ports equipped with bidirectional converters for constant current/constant voltage charging; the model realistically manages charging currents based on each battery’s state-of-charge (SOC), enabling analysis of grid parameters (voltage, current, DC link stability) and EV battery performance (voltage, current, SOC), making it ideal for research, development, and education in EV charging infrastructure, grid integration, and power quality improvement.
